''Banksia praemorsa'', commonly known as the cut-leaf banksia, is a species of shrub or tree in the plant genus ''Banksia''. It occurs in a few isolated populations on the south coast of Western Australia between Albany and Cape Riche. ==Description== ''Banksia praemorsa'' grows as a shrub to with a relatively thick sturdy trunk that branches quite close to the ground. Flowering occurs from August to November; the flower spikes arise from the ends of small lateral branches and thus, despite being terminal, are obscured by foliage.
